We are excited to announce our upcoming Canned Food Drive, which will take place from November 13, 2023 to November 16, 2023. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
As the holiday season quickly approaches, our Burley High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) team believes it is crucial to show our support for local families and individuals who may be experiencing food insecurity. The Canned Food Drive is a chance for all of us to contribute and help to make a positive impact in our community.
Here is how you can participate and contribute to the success of this event:
Donations: We kindly ask all students and staff to bring non-perishable food items to school during the designated collection dates (November 13th-16th). Canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and other non-perishable items are all greatly appreciated.
Collection Points: There will be designated collection points in each classroom at all participating schools.
Friendly Competition: We will have a friendly competition between classes to see which class can collect the most items. Prizes will be awarded to the winning class! (For Jr High and the High School, the competition will only be in 1st Hour.)
We are excited about the potential impact this food drive can have, and we encourage everyone to participate. Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community.
