Mr. Copmann
Principal
After graduating from Elko High School, I attended Idaho State University for my undergraduate degree and certification. Upon graduation I accepted a job in Southern California where I taught math, science, and PE. I also volunteered as a part time Dean of Students. Over the next 6 years I worked into the full time Dean of Students position. During that time, I earned my Master's Degree at Azusa Pacific University. Shortly after that I returned to Idaho where I became the asst. principal at Burley Jr. High School for 4 years, then Mr. Gillett accepted a position at the central office, I applied for and was offered the principal job at Burley Jr. High School. I enjoy jr. high aged students and realize that this is really one of our last real opportunities to make a difference in their lives. Every day is different and challenging. I am very fortunate to work with an outstanding staff and great students!
